Base supports USDC natively (Circle's USD-backed stablecoin). Player winnings settle in real dollars, not a speculative token whose price could crash 90% in a week. The economics of a dating sim require stable units — Base delivers that.
Coinbase Smart Wallet onboarding
Coinbase Smart Wallet is one of the lowest-friction wallet experiences in Web3 — no seed phrases, passkey-based recovery, gas sponsorship for first transactions. For an anime audience that may not have used a Web3 wallet before, CBW removes 80% of the onboarding friction that killed earlier Web3 games.
Cheap on-chain settlement

USDC on Base
All economic settlement is USDC. Dating Mode wins → server-signed USDC.transfer to your wallet, settled within ~5 seconds (~2-3 Base blocks).
Farcaster (planned)
Mini App + Frames support on roadmap. Cast embeds for share + invite. Native Web3 social distribution.
Provably Fair RNG
SHA-256 commit-reveal — server publishes seed at session end, every spin/door verifiable. Cryptographic auditability is core to Base ecosystem trust.

Standard Web3 stack. Compatible with all injected wallets: Coinbase Smart Wallet (primary), MetaMask, Rabby, etc. Base App in-app browser supported.
No Token

Is Crush & Crash an official Coinbase product?
No. Crush & Crash is built by Planetarium, an indie studio. We use Base mainnet (Coinbase's L2) as infrastructure but are not affiliated with Coinbase the company. Coinbase Smart Wallet is supported as one of several wallet options.
Can I play with MetaMask instead of Coinbase Smart Wallet?
Yes. Crush & Crash supports any injected wallet (MetaMask, Rabby, etc.) plus Coinbase Smart Wallet via the Base Account SDK. Coinbase Smart Wallet has the smoothest UX for non-crypto-native players, but it's not required.
Will Crush & Crash launch a token?
No. We make no promises about future tokens or airdrops. The economy is USDC-only and will stay that way. Independent KOLs and analysts may form their own opinions; those are their views, not ours.
Is Crush & Crash listed on basescan.org / DefiLlama / dappradar?
